Scope
This document specifies the requirements for kilometer-scale dual-use railway-road suspension bridges (hereinafter referred to as "suspension bridges") in terms of materials, design loads, structural calculations, construction control, health monitoring, maintenance and repair, and protection.
This document is applicable to the design of new dual-use railway-road suspension bridges with spans of 800 m to 1,300 m.
