Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of outdoor gas grills (hereinafter referred to as "grills"). The scope of products applicable to this standard includes: a) Grills with a total heat load of not more than 35 kW; b) This standard uses the gas sources specified in GB/T 13611, and products using other gas sources may refer to this standard for application; c) Grills for indoor or vehicle use are not applicable to this standard; d) Grills with electric heating are not applicable to this standard; e) Grills using liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks with a gas filling volume of not more than 15 kg.
