Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical characteristics, metrological characteristics, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of drinking water meters.
This standard applies to different metering grades of drinking water meters (hereinafter referred to as water meters) with a common flow range of 0.6 m3/h to 10 m3/h, a maximum allowable working pressure (MAP) greater than or equal to 1 MPa, and a maximum allowable working temperature (MAT) of 30℃.
