This part of GB/T 1859 specifies the determination method of sound power level for reciprocating internal combustion engines—the simplified method. This part is applicable to reciprocating internal combustion engines (hereinafter referred to as engines, unless otherwise specified) within the scope of application of GB/T 6072.1, as well as other internal combustion engines for which there are no suitable standards available yet.
