Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the drafting and revision of fire safety standards, the working procedures at each stage, and the requirements for the promotion and management of fire safety standards. This standard applies to the drafting and revision of national and industry fire safety standards in China, as well as their management; the working procedures for the drafting and revision of local fire safety standards can be implemented with reference to this standard. This standard does not apply to the drafting and revision of national fire safety standards (fire technical codes) for engineering construction, nor to their management work.
