Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for tantalum concentrates, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and the contents of purchase orders (or contracts). This standard applies to tantalum concentrates obtained through mineral processing and enrichment. The products are used for extracting tantalum and niobium oxides and manufacturing alloys, among other applications.
