GB/T 15453-2018 Determination of chloride in water for industrial circulating cooling system and boiler
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the determination methods for the chloride ion content in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water. The molar method and potentiometric titration method in this standard are applicable to the determination of chloride ion content in natural water, circulating cooling water, softened water, and boiler feedwater. The molar method is suitable for measuring chloride ion concentrations ranging from 3 mg/L to 150 mg/L. When the concentration exceeds 150 mg/L, the sample volume can be appropriately reduced and the measurement can be performed after dilution. The potentiometric titration method is suitable for measuring chloride ion concentrations ranging from 5 mg/L to 1,000 mg/L. The co-precipitation enrichment spectrophotometry method is suitable for determining the chloride ion content in demineralized water and boiler feedwater, with a measurement range of 10 μg/L to 100 μg/L.
