Scope

This document specifies the general principles for measuring changes in the performance of hulls and propellers, and sets performance indicators for maintenance, repair, and modification activities involving hulls and propellers.
The general principles and performance indicators specified in this document apply to all types of ships powered by traditional fixed-pitch propellers, with the aim of measuring changes in the performance of the hull and propellers of the same ship over time.
