Scope

This part of GB/T 18290 applies to ID connections that are not accessible during testing and measurement according to Section III, and such connections must meet the following requirements:
——Design an appropriate ID connector;
——Use wires with solid round conductors (with a nominal diameter of 0.25 mm to 3.6 mm);
——Use wires with stranded conductors (with a cross-sectional area of 0.05 mm2 to 10 mm2).
These connections are used in communication equipment and electronic devices employing similar technologies.
Additionally, in order to obtain stable electrical connections under specified environmental conditions, this part also provides some empirical data based on actual industrial use in addition to the testing procedures.
