Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope, calculation methods, calculation scope, and energy-saving management and measures for the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) limits of products of copper smelting enterprises. This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption of products of copper smelting enterprises using copper concentrates, crude copper, and scrap copper as raw materials, as well as the control of energy consumption in new projects. This standard does not apply to the direct heap leaching process of copper-containing ores, and the energy consumption indicators do not apply to the comprehensive recycling of copper-containing waste materials within enterprises.
