Scope
This standard specifies four design parameters for the starting performance of single-speed three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors operating at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The motors shall comply with the GB 755-2000 standard and: ● Have a rated voltage not exceeding 1,000 V; ● Be designed for direct starting or star-delta starting; ● Be designed according to the S1 duty cycle type; ● Be available with any protection rating. This standard also applies to dual-voltage motors with the same degree of magnetic saturation under both voltages, as well as explosion-proof motors of temperature groups T1 to T3 that comply with the GB 3836.1–2000 and GB 3836.3–2000 standards.
