Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of battery charge and discharge controllers (hereinafter referred to as controllers) for independent photovoltaic systems, and stipulates the technical requirements for the controller's battery charging protection and recovery function, battery over-discharge protection and recovery function, temperature compensation function, static power consumption, charge and discharge conversion efficiency, static MPPT tracking efficiency, measurement accuracy, protection board (lithium battery) activation function, protection function, environmental adaptability, and protection grade, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to battery charge and discharge controllers for independent photovoltaic systems with a voltage range of 6 V to 60 V and a rated power of no more than 12 kW. The battery types include lead-acid batteries, gel batteries, and lithium batteries. Other types of battery charge and discharge controllers for independent photovoltaic systems may be used as reference.
