Scope
This part of GB/T 28957 specifies the particle size distribution limits and chemical composition of four grades of test dust made from Arizona desert sand and two grades of test dust from the BF silica oxide series.
This part is applicable to the performance measurement of filters for road vehicles, as well as the performance measurement of filters for general-purpose internal combustion engines and the wear study of components such as bearings and seals.
