GB/T 21336-2008 Geographic information—Quality evaluation procedures
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the main procedures for determining and evaluating the quality of digital geographic datasets, consistent with the basic elements of data quality defined in GB/T 21337—2008. This standard establishes the content framework for evaluating and recording the quality results of datasets, which can be used as part of data quality metadata or as the content of quality evaluation reports. This standard can be used by data producers to provide quality information on whether the datasets comply with the corresponding product specifications, and it can also be used by data users to determine whether the datasets have good enough quality to meet their specific application requirements. This standard applies to all types of digital geographic data, and its principles can also be extended to many other forms of geographic information, such as maps, charts, and documents.
