Scope

This document specifies a high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of histamine, phenylethylamine, cadaverine, putrescine, histamine, octopamine, tyramine, putrescine, and spermine in animal-derived feed raw materials. This document is applicable to the determination of nine biogenic amines, including histamine, phenylethylamine, cadaverine, putrescine, histamine, octopamine, tyramine, putrescine, and spermine, in animal-derived feed raw materials such as fish meal, shrimp meal, chicken meal, pork meal, meat and bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, fish soluble paste, squid paste, and silkworm meal. The detection limit of this document is 5 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 10 mg/kg.
