Scope

This standard specifies the installation groove type, dimensions, and tolerances of the dustproof rings for the piston rods of reciprocating hydraulic cylinders, with a piston rod diameter range of 4mm to 360mm. The dustproof ring installation grooves specified in this standard are divided into the following four types: — Type A: Integral or grooves with a detachable cover, used for installing single-lip elastic dustproof rings without a rigid skeleton (for single-lip dustproof rings without an integral rigid skeleton, this type of groove is the preferred choice). — Type B: Open grooves, used for installing dustproof rings with a rigid skeleton (the dustproof ring is pressed into the groove for a tight fit). — Type C: Integral or grooves with a detachable cover, used for installing dustproof rings made of elastic materials (for double-lip dustproof rings without an integral rigid skeleton, this type of groove is the preferred choice). — Type D: Integral or grooves with a detachable cover, used for installing dustproof rings made of elastomeric materials combined with seals. The dustproof ring installation groove types specified in this standard are applicable to ordinary and 16MPa compact reciprocating hydraulic cylinders.
