Scope

This document specifies the safety technical requirements and measures that manufacturers of pneumatic presses used for metal cold processing or partial non-metal cold processing should adopt in their design and manufacturing processes.
This document applies to pneumatic presses. It covers the handling measures for dangerous situations or events that may occur when using pneumatic presses within the specified application scope, or for major hazards caused by foreseeable improper operations (see Chapter 4). It should also take into account the various stages of equipment lifespan as described in GB/T 15706-2012, Section 5.4.
