Scope

This standard specifies the method of marking and symbols for hot-rolled coils of non-quenched and tempered cold heading steel, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates, etc.
This standard applies to hot-rolled coils of non-quenched and tempered cold heading steel used for manufacturing fasteners such as bolts, screws, and studs with a nominal diameter of 5 mm to 20 mm. For sizes exceeding this specification range, the supplier and the buyer shall resolve the issue by referring to this standard and negotiating a solution.
