Scope

This document specifies the classification and grade designation methods for hot-rolled coil of cold heading steel, the content of orders, manufacturing processes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This document applies to hot-rolled coil of cold heading steel (hereinafter referred to as "coil") used for manufacturing fasteners such as bolts, screws, and studs with a nominal diameter of 5 mm to 52 mm. For products exceeding the scope of this specification, reference can be made to this document for implementation.
