Scope

This document describes the method of establishing a mathematical model (hereinafter referred to as "the model") of the excitation system of synchronous generators for stability analysis and calculation of power systems.
This document is applicable to the modeling of the excitation systems of steam turbine generators, gas turbine generators, hydroelectric generators, pumped storage generators/motors, nuclear power units, and solar thermal power units. The synchronous phase shifter is used for reference.
