GB/T 29181-2012 Computer applications in terminology—Terminological markup framework
Basic Information
Scope
In order to express and describe the data recorded in the terminology dataset, this standard provides a guiding framework for the basic principles that need to be used. This framework includes a meta-model and a description method of the specific terminology markup language (TML) expressed in XML. This standard defines the use of defined markers in TML, but except for the three TMLs defined in Appendices B to D, this standard does not define specific defined markers for other TMLs.
This standard is applicable to the development and use of computer applications, and its purpose is to facilitate the processing of terminology data and the exchange of terminology data between different applications. It does not standardize the methods specified in ISO 12620 and other related international and national standards for data categories and data structure specifications.
This standard also defines the conditions that enable data represented in one TML to be mapped to another TML, and specifies the corresponding general mapping tools (GMT) (see Appendix A).
In addition, this standard defines a universality model for describing language data.
