Scope
This document specifies the dimensions, applications, tests, and special requirements of 15-core electrical connectors.
This document is applicable to the electrical connection between tractors and their trailers, except for the braking system and running gear, at a nominal voltage of 24 V. It is also applicable to the storage of plugs and sockets when the plugs and sockets are separated, as well as conversion devices between 7-core and 15-core connectors.
