Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, testing methods, and rules for determining conformity of LED displays used in sports venues.
This standard applies to LED displays permanently installed in stadiums, multi-purpose arenas, and swimming and diving venues. Displays in other types of venues may be used for reference.
This standard does not apply to dedicated displays for mobile timing and scoring systems or directional guidance displays in venues.
