Scope

This part of GB/T 24791 specifies the shape of the sensitivity curve, sensitivity, and average slope in medical X-ray photography, as well as the measurement methods for screen/film/film holder/processing systems. This measurement method is not suitable for special radiography such as mammography, dental radiography, and direct exposure medical radiography systems (see ISO 5799). The film holder can be of any form, as long as it ensures that the screen/film is in close contact and prevents the film from being exposed to ambient light. The film holder can be a light-tight vacuum bag often used in experiments, or an X-ray imaging cassette used in medical X-ray photography.
