Scope

This part of GB/T 24810 specifies the special requirements for limiters and indicators of tower cranes (hereinafter referred to as tower cranes). It applies to tower cranes defined in GB/T 6974.3.
This part does not apply to stopping devices, such as buffers used to stop the swing of the jib, the travel of the main boom, or the swing of the boom. It also does not apply to the erection, dismantling, or structural modification of tower cranes.
Note: GB/T 24810.1 specifies the general requirements for limiters and indicators used in cranes.
