This part of GB/T 6974 specifies the general definitions of tower cranes and uses diagrams with related term numbers to illustrate the terms used in various types of tower cranes. This part applies to: — Tower cranes that can be assembled and disassembled; — Permanently installed tower cranes. This part does not apply to: — Mobile cranes that can be equipped with tower bodies; — Installation masts with or without booms.
