Scope

This specification applies to the calibration of high-temperature thermocouples such as precious metals and tungsten-rhenium (hereinafter referred to as thermocouples) using the fuse method at the melting point of palladium (1,554.8℃). The diameter of the thermocouple electrodes should be (0.3~1.0)mm, and the length should be no less than 750mm. The calibration using the melting points of other pure metals (such as platinum and gold) can refer to this specification.
