Scope
This document provides general provisions, reagents or materials, and instrumentation for the determination of chloride content in inorganic chemical products by mercury metering and ion chromatography. It also describes the principles, experimental steps, data processing, and precision and recovery rates of mercury metering and ion chromatography for determining chloride content in inorganic chemical products. This document is applicable to the determination of chloride content in inorganic chemical products by mercury metering and ion chromatography. For samples with a chloride content (calculated as Cl) of 0.01 mg to 80 mg, when the concentration of the standard solution of mercury nitrate used is less than 0.02 mol/L, the titration is carried out in an ethanol solution; the determination range (mass fraction) by ion chromatography is 0.0001% to 1%.
