Scope
This standard specifies a general method for determining the mercury content in inorganic chemical products - the flameless atomic absorption spectrometry method. This standard is applicable to the determination of mercury content in inorganic chemical products. When preparing the test solution, the standard should be modified as necessary to suit the determination of the product, referring to the standards related to the product being analyzed. This standard is applicable to the mercury ion mass concentration in the test solution ranging from 0.04 μg/mL to 40 μg/mL.
