Scope
This standard stipulates the control requirements for water pollutant discharge, monitoring requirements, and supervision and management requirements for pickle industry enterprises and vegetable salt-preservation production and processing facilities within the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. This standard applies to the management of water pollutant discharge from existing pickle industry enterprises and vegetable salt-preservation production and processing facilities in Sichuan Province, as well as the environmental impact assessments, environmental protection facility design, completion environmental protection acceptance, and issuance of pollution discharge permits for new, modified, or expanded pickle industry and vegetable salt-preservation processing construction projects. The chloride ion discharge limits in this standard also apply to centralized industrial wastewater treatment facilities that receive wastewater from pickle industry enterprises. The water pollutant discharge control requirements stipulated in this standard apply to the direct or indirect discharge of water pollutants from pickle industry enterprises and vegetable salt-preservation production and processing facilities outside their legal boundaries.
