Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for commercial hot water dispensers.
This standard applies to commercial hot water dispensers (hereinafter referred to as hot water dispensers) that are not specifically designed for household use. For single-phase appliances connected to a phase line and a neutral line, the rated voltage shall not exceed 250 V, and for other appliances, it shall not exceed 480 V.
Appliances that utilize other forms of energy can be referenced for use.
This standard does not apply to:
a) Hot water dispensers specifically designed for industrial use;
b) Hot water dispensers with electrode heaters;
c) Hot water dispensers with refrigeration functions;
d) Hot water dispensers used under special conditions such as corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam, or flammable gases).
