Scope

This document describes the methods for preparing and testing the performance of polystyrene (PS) molded and extruded materials. It also specifies the requirements for pre-treating test materials and adjusting the state of the samples before testing. This document stipulates the methods and conditions for sample preparation and performance testing. It lists the appropriate and necessary properties and test methods for characterizing polystyrene (PS) molded and extruded materials. These properties are selected from the GB/T 19467.1 general testing methods. The document also lists other test methods widely used or of particular significance for polystyrene (PS) molded and extruded materials, as well as the determination methods for named properties in GB/T 6594.1.
