Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency limit values, energy-saving evaluation values, and determination methods for energy efficiency grades of room air conditioners (hereinafter referred to as "air conditioners"), as well as testing methods and inspection rules. This standard applies to air conditioners that use air-cooled condensers and fully enclosed electric motor-compressors, with a cooling capacity of 14,000 W or less, and a climate type of T1. This standard does not apply to portable, speed-controllable, and multi-unit air conditioning systems.
