Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, evaluation indicators, and evaluation methods for the status evaluation of relay protection devices. This document is applicable to the status evaluation of microcomputer-based relay protection devices, secondary circuits, and auxiliary devices (hereinafter referred to as relay protection devices) in conventional and intelligent substations of AC systems. Power plants and other stations may refer to and implement it accordingly.
