Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, models, technical characteristics, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation of split pilot pressure relief and stabilization valves (hereinafter referred to as pressure relief valves).
This standard applies to pressure relief valves used in piping systems with a nominal pressure of PN10~PN25 and a nominal size of DN50~DN800, where the medium is water with a temperature not exceeding 80°C, such as water supply and air conditioning water systems.
