Scope

This document describes the method of measuring the haze and transmittance of thin films used in liquid crystal displays (LCDs) using the integrating sphere method.
This document is applicable to the measurement of haze and transmittance of optically transparent thin films such as triacetin cellulose ester (TAC) films, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films, and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) films used in LCDs.
