This standard specifies the definition of the shrinkage (or expansion) rate of self-baked coke blocks, the instruments and equipment used for the test, sample preparation, test procedures, result calculation, and test reports. This standard is applicable to the determination of the shrinkage (or expansion) rate of self-baked coke blocks used in blast furnaces and mineral hot blast furnaces.
