Scope
This document describes the principle, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, operating steps, result presentation, and precision for determining the triglyceride composition of vegetable oils using high-performance liquid chromatography. This document is suitable for determining the triglyceride composition of vegetable oils containing long-chain fatty acid triglycerides, particularly for vegetable oils containing a small amount of semi-dried oils (rich in linoleic acid) and with oleic acid as the main unsaturated fatty acid. Among them, the third method described in this document is suitable for determining the triglyceride content in vegetable oils that have commercial standard samples.
