Scope
This document specifies the electrical performance requirements for single power batteries (hereinafter referred to as "battery cells") used in electric vehicles, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document applies to lithium-ion batteries and nickel metal hydride batteries installed in electric vehicles. Other types of batteries should be implemented in accordance with this document.
