Scope

This document stipulates the technical requirements for the analysis upon entry, storage, physical and chemical treatment, comprehensive utilization, incineration, landfill, and operational management of hazardous waste for comprehensive utilization and disposal.
This document is applicable to the full process of pollution control in units engaged in the comprehensive utilization and disposal of hazardous waste, and can be used to guide the construction of engineering projects and the operation and management of facilities in such units; units generating waste may refer to this document when building their own facilities for the comprehensive utilization and disposal of hazardous waste; where there are specific dedicated standards for the comprehensive utilization and disposal of hazardous waste, such standards shall also be implemented simultaneously.
This document is not applicable to cement kilns for the co-processing of hazardous waste and medical waste treatment and disposal facilities.
