Scope
This document specifies the minimum requirements for frequency protection functions and performance evaluation, as well as the methods of recording and publishing the results of performance tests. This document covers protection functions based on frequency measurement or frequency change rate measurement, including frequency protection using additional locking elements. This document specifies the accuracy factors under steady-state conditions and performance characteristics under dynamic conditions, as well as test methods for verifying performance characteristics and accuracy. The frequency protection functions covered by this document are shown in Table 1.
