Scope

This document specifies the design requirements, performance requirements, consistency assessment, marking, and packaging of irrigation valves. The valve is suitable for irrigation systems where the water temperature does not exceed 60 °C, and the water may contain certain types and concentrations of fertilizers or chemicals commonly used in agriculture.
This document applies to irrigation valves with a nominal size of not less than 8 mm. The designed working state of the valve is fully open and fully closed, but it can also operate in any intermediate state for a long time.
