GB/T 18691.4-2021 Agricultural irrigation equipment—Irrigation valves—Part 4:Air valves

Scope

This document specifies the design requirements, performance requirements, consistency assessment, marking, and packaging of intake and exhaust valves. These intake and exhaust valves are suitable for irrigation systems where the water temperature does not exceed 60 °C and the water may contain certain types and concentrations of fertilizers or chemicals commonly used in agriculture.
This document applies to hydraulically driven irrigation intake and exhaust valves with a nominal size of not less than DN 15. These valves either operate by applying force to the closing member directly through a float, or operate by applying force to the closing member through a mechanical control rod via a float. These valves can also operate by applying force through an adjustable pilot valve.
