This document specifies the grades and unified numerical codes of stainless steel and their chemical compositions, and provides the physical properties of some grades, a comparison table of grades and unified numerical codes with foreign standard grades (or similar grades), etc. The grades and unified numerical codes of stainless steel specified in this document are applicable to guiding the formulation and revision of product standards for stainless steel (including steel ingots and semi-finished products). Note: The elemental content of the chemical composition of stainless steel in this document is all expressed in terms of mass fraction.
