Scope

This standard specifies the grades of stainless steel and heat-resistant steel and their chemical compositions (see Tables 1 to 5), and includes the physical parameters of some grades, a comparison table of foreign standard grades or similar grades, and the applicable standards for stainless steel and heat-resistant steel grades in the form of an informative appendix. The grades and their chemical compositions specified in this standard are applicable when formulating or revising product standards for stainless steel and heat-resistant steel (including steel ingots and semi-finished products).
