Scope

This standard specifies the water quality requirements for marine auxiliary boilers (hereinafter referred to as "boilers") during operation.
This standard applies to fuel oil boilers, exhaust gas boilers, and combined fuel oil and exhaust gas boilers with a design pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa and a medium of water and saturated steam, as well as hot water boilers with a medium outlet temperature not exceeding 120 °C.
