Scope
This standard specifies the main performance requirements and test methods for medical compression nebulizers (hereinafter referred to as nebulizers). This standard applies to medical compression nebulizers that use compressed gas generated by gas compressors as a driving source to produce and transmit aerosols. These nebulizers are used to atomize liquid medications for patients to inhale. This standard does not apply to medical ultrasonic nebulizers.
