Scope
The purpose of this standard is to establish a series of procedures for certification bodies (non-governmental) to consider when deciding how to address the following issues: a) Where the conformity marks issued by the certification body are misused as reported by a whistleblower; or b) Where it is subsequently discovered that the certified products are harmful.
