GB/T 27030-2025 Conformity assessment—General requirements for third-party marks of conformity
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the general requirements for third-party conformity marks, including their issuance and use.
This document applies to third-party conformity marks issued and used in different forms and various media, including digital representations that store and display marks electronically, machine-readable codes, distributed ledger technology (blockchain), or other electronic means.
Note 1: This document can also serve as a guide for using conformity marks in activities other than third-party conformity assessment.
Note 2: According to this document, third-party conformity marks also include authorization marks, such as accreditation marks. To maintain terminological consistency, they are referred to as accreditation marks.
Note 3: According to this document, third-party conformity marks may include logos (such as the marks or trademarks of conformity assessment bodies), identifiers (such as authorization marks in accreditation agreements or descriptions of applicable schemes), or combinations of them.
Note 4: According to this document, third-party conformity marks, as graphical representations of conformity, may be combinations of multiple marks (such as marks indicating compliance with multiple sets of standards, or codes satisfying a single standard).
Note 5: This document does not apply to marks that merely indicate names, codes, or classifications. Additionally, this document does not apply to graphical representations (such as graphical representations of conformity assessment systems or schemes) or logos (such as logos of accreditation body associations or conformity assessment body associations).
Note 6: Third-party conformity marks are based on conformity assessment schemes that include supervision functions.
