Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for direct lightning protection, protection against lightning electromagnetic pulses, and the inspection and maintenance of related lightning protection devices for photovoltaic building integrated systems. This standard applies to the lightning protection design and construction of new, renovated, and expanded photovoltaic building integrated systems. The lightning protection design and construction of existing photovoltaic building integrated systems can be used for reference.
